Tati Bates, BS | President
Tati Bates is the President of PCR. Tati has 20+ years of experience in the clinical research industry. Beginning her career with Hill Top Research in 1996 as a Study Manager, Ms. Bates was the Site Director of Hill Top Research which included Business Operations responsibilities including daily site operations, study conduct, profit & loss oversight, for Hill Top Research’s St. Petersburg, FL location.
In 2011 Tati joined Radiant Research as the Director of Business Operations for the Consumer Products Testing Division. In 2015, she joined PCR as VP of Consumer Operations and was promoted to her present role in 2018.
Tati has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biology/Chemistry from the Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida. She is also a member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists.
Finance
Helen Shuttlewood | Chief Financial Officer
Helen Shuttlewood is the Chief Financial Officer at PCR. Starting life working at Street Bank in London for 5 years, her responsibilities included administration, ordering and handling cash, controlling standing orders, direct debits and liaising with customers who had breached their overdraft limits.
Later, Helen joined a dedicated accounts department within a surveying company for 4 years. She handled all national credit control aspects and because of her hard work and dedication got promoted to Head of the Department.
Since 1999, she has help run the Finance Departments of various companies in the Clinical Trials industry. Initially her work was limited to the UK, later it evolved worldwide. Duties include liaising with Accountants in various countries and overseeing the day to day running of the Finance Department worldwide.
Vice Presidents
Joanne Browne | VP of Consumer Operations at PCR
Joanne Browne is the VP of Consumer Operations at PCR. Joanne has over 30 years of experience in clinical research industry, staring as a Clinical Research Coordinator in 1998, she worked as Report Writer, Study Manager and in 2008 became Assistant Site Director.
In 2011, she joined Radiant Research working in business and daily site operations for pharmaceutical and consumer trials. In 2015, she joined Princeton Consumer Research (PCR) as Site Director until 2018, when she was promoted to Vice President.
She has vast experience in clinical trials including but not limited to the following areas: Consumer Product Preference, Consumer Safety Testing, Patch Testing, Transdermal Patch Testing, Antiperspirant and Deodorant Efficacy Trials, Acne efficacy, numerous device trials such as Heat Wrap, Onychomycosis, Wart Removal, Smoking Cessation, Hyperhidrosis, Cold Sore Efficacy and numerous Women’s Health Trials.
Nalini Kaul Ph.D. | VP Technical Services
Dr. Nalini Kaul is Vice President of Technical Services. Responsible for consulting with clients on study design feasibility and techniques suitable for the project and also serves as Principal Investigator.
Nalini has a Ph.D. in Cardiology and M.S. in Biochemistry, and two Post-Doctorates from reputed universities in both Canada and the USA.
Nalini’s approximately 30 years of clinical research experience in the health marketplace, involving various product categories including Dietary supplements / NHPs, Foods, Cosmetics, OTC drugs and medical devices have helped her compile an excellent knowledge base and outstanding leadership/management skills.
Conducting Clinical Trials at reputed institutions in India (PGIME&R, Chandigarh), USA (University of Texas-Southwestern Medical Centre) and Canada (St. Boniface Research Centre, Hill-Top Research and Source Nutraceutical Inc.) has provided her with a solid base in education, rich set of core competencies and experience.
As Technical Director and Principal Investigator she routinely conducted evaluations and critical appraisals for study design, protocol feasibility and was responsible for the overall smooth running of clinical trials. Previously, as Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs for ten years and as Director of Clinical trials she oversaw her team register many products with Health Canada with substantiated claims.
As the designated QA lead to Health Canada she was responsible for the products entire life cycle, dealing with all regulatory aspects for compliance including product testing, stability testing, and market entry. Her notable accomplishments including 50 plus publications, book chapters and presentations at various national and international arenas, sitting on an ethics board and serving as a reviewer for multiple peer-reviewed journals.
Kirstie Maguire | VP European Operations
Kirstie Maguire has 10 years’ experience in Clinical Research at PCR. She started as clinical trial assistant working on clinical studies for 5 years, then moved on to Business Development, here she had the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in the cosmetic world.
After four years in business development, she was promoted to Vice President of European Operations. In her own words, being a VP has been the most rewarding experience in her career to date. She has made great strides in steering the European business side, increasing business and clients. Her aim is to deliver the best service most suited to client needs and make it stress free.
Robert Campbell | VP of Business Development
Robert’s past sales life has gone from residential sales to commercial industrial to the board rooms with handling of national and international accounts. His greatest accomplishments are built on one thing, which is listening is the key. He is a firm believer that the path to success is driven by taking the time to understand the needs that each of our individual clients highlight as the road to their success.
In his time at PCR he sees the greatest strength lies in being able to customize studies for providing claims support of our client’s product for market entry and for competitive edge.

Terrie Benett | Site Director – Chelmsford, UK
Tracy Gelo | Site Director – St Petersberg, Florida
Tracy Gelo is the Site Director at our Florida Location. Tracy ensures studies have appropriate resources, supplies, staffing and required clinical evaluators.
Tracy is responsible for efficient execution of study projects within study budget and client expectations. Tracy makes sure that work performed at the Site is accurate and complete so that the client gets the best results on their products being tested.
Tracy is a trained/certified Skin Grader, Adhesion Evaluator, Outdoor Use Sunscreen Skin Grader, Sunscreen Sweat Evaluator, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist and is CPR Certified.
Elsie Kohoot | Site Director – Winnipeg, Canada
With over 25 years in the CRO industry, Elsie Kohoot is the Site Director at our Winnipeg Facility.
Joining PCR in 2017, having worked at Hill Top Research for 22 years, Elsie progressed her way through the ranks from Technician to Study Manager to Assistant Site Manager to being at the helm of affairs and running the Winnipeg office as Site Manager.
With her vast experience, having worked at all levels, she brings great insight and extensive experience in the design and development of clinical research study methodologies, visual assessment of skin attributes (certified grader) including dryness, aging skin (lines/wrinkles, elasticity, hyperpigmentation, pores, luminance, and more) irritation, sensitization and instrument measurement of skin attributes.
Elsie has authored publications and given presentations relating to aging skin, nutritional intervention and skin, skin cleansing, techniques for reproducible relocation of measurement sites, and multiparametric approach for assessing photoaging. Study areas of her expertise include acne, atopic dermatitis, cleanser mildness, exfoliation, microbiome, moisturization and muscle/joint pain.
She is responsible for our Canadian operations including staff training, project and budget management, and facility. She works collaboratively across international sites to maximize efficiency and quality. Elsie partners with Sponsors within the dynamic global clinical testing services industry to provide expertise, creating synergistic business relationships with an emphasis on identifying needs, designing trials to meet objectives, conducting quality trials, and reporting meaningful data.
Gerry Micklada | Site Director – Princeton, NJ
Gerry is our site director for the New Jersey site.
With 20+ years of management experience including understanding and implementing study flow. Gerry has 5+ years of experience in subject recruitment and supporting the PCR Corp recruitment team. He is knowledgeable in bio-instrumentation and also VISIA photo analysis. He also assists Project Managers with protocol development.
Business Development
Dr. Lisa Long PharmD | Sr. Director, Business Development
Lisa Long is the Sr. Director of Business Development of PCR. Lisa has 12+ years of experience in the clinical research industry. She began her career with Hill Top Research in 1999 as a Study Coordinator. Ms. Long was the Assistant Site Director of Hill Top Research which included Business Operations responsibilities including daily site operations, study conduct, profit & loss oversight, for Hill Top Research’s St. Petersburg, FL location. In 2004 Lisa started Pharmacy School at the University of Florida and graduated in 2008 with a Doctorate in Pharmacy. Lisa was promoted to Technical Director at Hill Top Research in 2008. Lisa worked in the Pharmacy field from 2009 until 2018 when she joined PCR as Sr. Director in Business Development.
Lisa has a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from the University South Florida, Tampa, Florida and Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida.

Kyle White is a business development executive with experience working in the sales / marketing / management field for the past 9 years. He has developed winning sales and business development strategies in highly competitive markets.
With a proven track record and success in driving revenue sales growth he exceeds aggressive financial targets and business objectives. Kyle is a trusted client advisor and a strategic business partner who works closely with clients delivering outstanding customer service that wins referrals and secures repeat business.
Understanding the proper expectations of what a sales and business development executive needs to bring to the table. He is confident and a good executor with skills that include good customer service, B2B sales hunter mentality, marketing, networking, design & management. Technical Directors
Chrissy Maraghy | Technical Director
Christine Maraghy, B.S. is our Technical Director at Princeton Consumer Research at the St. Petersburg, Florida location, and has held the position for the last 2 years.
Christine has over 15 years of experience in the consumer product testing area. Specialzing in sunscreens, antiperspirants / deodorants, baby care, eye care, and feminine care studies.
Christine is a certified sunscreen grader, patch grader, anti-aging grader, baby products grader, and a non-medical Principal Investigator.
Ashley Cremone | Technical Director
Ashley Cremone is currently a Technical Director at Princeton Consumer Research.
She has over 15 years of experience in the clinical research industry, workingfor clinical research organizations (CROs) such as Clinical Research Laboratories and Eurofins/ CRL.
Her strong organization and interpersonal skills quickly propelled her into various clinical research leadership roles where she attained experience in different areas of skin grading , Anti-Aging , Phototoxicity, Photoallergy, HRIPT, Follicular,Biopsies, cumulative irritation, sweat and humidity, antiperspirant, facial sting, depilatory and dansyl chloride methodologies.
QA Team
Nancy Campbell | QA Director
Anne M. “Nancy” Campbell is the Director of Quality Assurance at PCR. She has a BS Degree (Agriculture – Plant Pathology – Minor in Biology).
Nancy started as an Associate Biologist at DuPont Agricultural Products in Biotechnology and later as Quality Assurance Auditor for submission of GLP studies to EPA needed for registration of agricultural products. After leaving DuPont, she started her own GLP consulting business for the Agricultural Industry.
In early 2000, she joined Hill Top Research in St. Petersburg, FL, holding and being promoted to various positions as Staffing Coordinator, Report Writer and Quality Assurance Auditor for Derm. Rx Division. She moved on to Radiant Research as a Study Manager, Protocol/Report Writer and part time Quality Assurance Auditor for both consumer product and Dermal Research Studies including Transdermal Pharmaceutical Products.
In 2015, she joined Princeton Consumer Research as Director of Quality Assurance. Her varied experiences both in the laboratory conducting studies, writing/designing protocols and reports, authoring SOPs, implementing the Quality Management System and her regulatory background in Clinical Research afford her a unique perspective that helps guide clients at PCR in conducting compliant studies in support of their products.
Jeremy Layco | Quality Assurance Auditor
Jeremy joined Princeton Consumer Research in 2018 as Quality Assurance Auditor for the Winnipeg Canada site.
Jeremy is currently responsible for assisting the Director of Quality Assurance with communication on all aspects of the company Quality System. To achieve this goal, he works with Site Directors and Project Management teams to ensure studies are conducted according to applicable regulations.
Prior to joining Princeton Consumer Research, Jeremy served as Clinical Research Coordinator and eventually Quality Assurance Auditor for Hill Top Research. Jeremy has experience in the areas of bioinstrumentation, data management, technical writing and regulatory affairs. Jeremy received his BSc. in Microbiology and Biochemistry from The University of Manitoba.
