Elsie, former Site Manager of Hill Top Research’s Canadian facility, is joined by Joelle Potrebka, who has worked with Elsie for 25 years in the consumer product testing area. Together they bring over 50 years experience in consumer product testing, working with some of the biggest names in the cosmetic and personal care market place.

PCR has been able to establish company owned sites in Europe, North America and Canada and established working relationships with sites in Asia, to further offer a diverse group of geographical locations to best meet the needs of our global client base.”
Elsie will report directly to VP of Operations, Tati Bates, another veteran in the consumer product testing community. Ms Bates added “I have had the pleasure of working with both Elsie and Joelle in the past when they both ran the unit for one of our competitor companies. We are excited to have the experience and knowledge onboard at PCR that both ladies bring with them. This truly helps to establish PCR as the leading Consumer Product testing business in the world and we are excited to have them onboard with us.”
Elsie has unbeatable expertise in dry skin evaluation, patch, acne, antiaging, comedogencity slide evaluations, and bioinstrumentation, microbiome and use studies. She also has 11 publications/presentations to her credit in the field of dermatology.
Elsie received her B.A. in Sociology from the University of Winnipeg. She has been a member of the Canadian Cosmetic, Toiletry, and Fragrance Association, International Society for BioEngineering and Skin, and a board member for the Life Science Association of Manitoba.
Joelle Potrebka’s areas of expertise include – dandruff, patch, bioinstrumentation, microbiome and she brings 25 years of experience coordinating and managing many studies, including SPF, moisturization, cold sore, barrier integrity, and antiaging. Joelle is a qualified dandruff grader and has evaluated studies across N. America and Asia.
Joelle obtained her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Manitoba. She obtained her Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) designation and is a member of SOCRA. She has six publications to her credit.
PCR is developing a new site in Winnipeg, Canada and is already starting to interview for other open positions that this move will bring.
